PG Cougars gearing up for Toque and Teddy Bear toss night against Kamloops

One of the most anticipated games on the calendar for fans of the Prince George Cougars is returning this weekend.

The WHL club, in partnership with Northland Dodge, will be hosting the Teddy & Toque Toss on Saturday against the Kamloops Blazers.

“With last year’s Teddy & Toque toss being cancelled as a result of the pandemic, needless to say we are looking forward to seeing our generous fans having a blast at this annual tradition, but also seeing a huge number of items being donated to the Salvation Army and families in need,” commented Cougars’ Vice President, Business Andy Beesley.

All fans who attend the game are asked to bring a bagged new or gently used stuffed toy and or warm winter clothes (coats, toques, socks, blankets, and mittens) to the game.

When the Cougars score their first goal, fans are invited to throw their bagged donations onto the ice.

All items will be distributed to people in need over the holidays through the Salvation Army.
