The Prince George Spruce Kings continue to fine-tune the roster.

Today (Monday), the BCHL club acquired blueliner Nick Marciano from the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for Connor Elliot and Future Considerations.

The 19-year-old from Greenwich, Connecticut suited up in 21 games for the Capitals and has amassed 15 points.

Marciano is also committed to Princeton University.

“We’re thrilled to add a player like Nick to our lineup. He has shown that he is a top-level defenceman in our league. He will be a key contributor in all areas of the game for us” – General Manager Mike Hawes.

The Spruce Kings host the Cranbrook Bucks for three consecutive nights starting on Thursday at 7 pm from the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
