PG company collects a pair of Builders Code Champion Awards

Prince George’s Westcana Electric continues to be a leader in the construction industry in the province.

The company picked up Contractor of the Year and Workplace Culture Champion honours during the 2021 Builders Code Champion Awards.

Westcana has now collected five Builders Code awards since it was first launched in 2019.

According to a news release, BC’s construction industry is 94% male and 66% of workers are over the age of 45.

Over 27-thousand job openings are expected by 2030 due to requirements and industry expansion.
