PG Cougars hammer down details recognizing construction community

The Independent Contractors and Business Association (ICBA) and the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA), are teaming up with the Prince George Cougars for a special night.

At the game on January 8th against the Victoria Royals, the Cougars, ICBA, and CHBA will be hosting Construction Builds Communities Night.

“We want to use our position in the community to be leaders, to be role models, to help facilitate great things in the community,” said Cougars Vice President of Business Andy Beesley.

“We want to bring the community together, and also encourage businesses to bring their employees, their friends and families under one roof, so we can join together and say construction builds communities.”

“There are some challenges we want to bring attention to,” said ICBA Regional President Mike Davis.

“70% of our membership will have trouble finding skilled labour in 2022, lots of opportunity but challenges to get workers.”

Tickets for Construction Builds Communities Night are on sale now at www.ticketsnorth.ca.
