Anyone looking to get vaccinated during the holiday season in Prince George is still in luck.
Northern Health is opening up a clinic at the Interior Health Unit (1444 Edmonton Street), near UHNBC on December 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31st by appointment only.
Spokesperson, Eryn Collins told MyPGNow.com this was originally open to just 5-11 year-olds but has since expanded eligibility.
“There has been some additional capacity added to those clinics who are 12 and over. So, essentially, it will be all ages clinics for the dates in question.”
Collins adds there are also several local pharmacies now booking appointments for all doses.
“It’s also important to note that all of these clinics and pharmacies are by appointment only and people are encouraged to visit the Get Vaccinated website for the list of available clinics, pharmacies and to access those appointments. People are being asked not to contact the pharmacies directly,” added Collins.
Regular clinics at the House of Ancestors on Vancouver Street are not being offered starting today (Monday) and will resume on January 5th.
