World Junior Hockey: 

Canada  6  Czech Republic  3

Canada will play its  second game of the tournament on Tuesday (4:00 PT) against Austria.

WHL:

The (13-15) Prince George Cougars, who have won five of their last six games, host the (21-6-2-1) Everett Silvertips on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00.

The Cougars will also entertain the (19-8) Kamloops Blazers on Friday with a special start time of 5:00.

Prince George is 7th in the Western Conference standings, three points behind both Kelowna and Vancouver and four ahead of Victoria and Tri-City.

NHL:

The NHL plans to resume on Tuesday with three games including Montreal at Tampa Bay.

The (14-15-2) Vancouver Canucks, who are 6-0 under coach Bruce Boudreau, are scheduled to visit Anaheim on Wednesday.

BCHL:

The Prince George Spruce Kings return to action with road games at the (8-10-4-1) Wenatchee Wild on Thursday and Friday.

The (13-9-1) Spruce Kings are 4th out of 9 in the BCHL Interior Division.

Prince George does not have another home game until January 12th against West Kelowna.

NFL: (Week 16)

Buffalo  33  New England  21

Both teams are 9-6 and tied for first in the AFC East but the Bills hold the tie-breaker with two games left.

Monday Night Football to conclude Week 16 of the NFL season has Miami at New Orleans (5:15 PT). Both teams are 7-7.
