Theatre Northwest and Big Brothers Big Sisters Prince George are bringing a speakeasy fundraiser to Prince George.

Gin Blossom kicks off on March 12th, and will be a seated event with drinks and a theme.

“So it’s a speakeasy, it’s sort of a the roaring 20’s era inspired event. The theatre will be decorated, we encourage people to wear 1920’s costumes,” said Artistic Producer with Theatre Northwest Marnie Hamagami.

She added that costumes aren’t needed, and people can come as they are.

Hamagami said that every ticket comes with some drinks.

“We are serving five gin cocktails, and those cocktails are included with the price of the ticket, so you don’t need to buy anything additional when you get there. We do have shuttles taking people home.”

The first drink will be served at 8:30 pm, and last call is at midnight.

Tickets for the event can be found on the Theatre Northwest website.
