Two Rivers gallery calling on artists for new mural

Two Rivers Gallery is seeking artists to paint a mural in ‘The Wild Side’.

Communications Coordinator, Roxanne Heroux-Boulay says the room is a play space for families and children.

“We’ve recently moved it to a bigger location at the gallery, and we have huge, boring, empty walls,” Heroux-Boulay said.

“We’re just looking for someone to bring some colour and cheer into that room.”

She says artists from Prince George and the surrounding area are invited to apply to the project, and artists of all abilities are encouraged as well.

“It’s pretty wide open, depending on what the design looks like, we’re probably going to base the rest of the room around the mural, so it’ll definitely be a big focal point of the room,” Heroux-Boulay said.

The deadline to apply for the project is April 1st, 2022.
