Clark says Lakeland report will be looked at seriously

We will take every item very seriously.

Those are the words of Premier Christy Clark in regards to the Lakeland Mills Coroner’s Inquest recommendations.

Clark says Jobs Minister Shirley Bond is looking through the report.

“She and I haven’t had a chance yet to speak this morning,” says Bond, “so I’m hesitant to say that there is one thing, but we will be acting, there are I think 22 out of the 30 odd recommendations directed to the provincial government or provincial agencies.”

Clark was in Prince George getting a helicopter tour of the Little Bobtail Lake fire.

She says the province is putting in as many resources as possible to get the fire under control.
