GoFundMe page raises over $130k for woman struck by vehicle in PG

Over $130,000 has been raised for a woman who was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday (April 6th) in Prince George.

Amritpal Kaur was crossing the intersection of 5th Avenue and Stuart Drive when she was hit by a vehicle, and now a GoFundMe page has been set up to support her.

The website said Kaur was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital, and she is considered in very critical condition.

It added that she’s in a coma, has a severe brain injury, they suspect she may have had a stroke, her lungs have collapsed, there’s a tear in her liver, and she has multiple broken bones.

It’s suspected that it will take months, and possibly years for Kaur to recover, with no promise of a normal life.

Kaur’s husband is still in Punjab, India, and is currently working on a visa application to fly out.
