BC Transit launches ‘Voice of the Rider’ engagement platform

BC Transit is seeking public input and feedback through a new engagement platform.

BC Transit Spokesperson, Jaime Weiss says the new ‘Voice of the Rider’ platform is more interactive than previous public engagements they’ve done.

“Once [riders are registered], they’ll see that the platform is divided into two separate areas,” Weiss said.

“First is our engagement project, that includes infrastructure projects like the building of new transit facilities, and also our long-term transit planning.”

“If people maybe have a route they take all the time, and maybe there’s a bus stop that isn’t in the right place, they can drop a pin on an interactive map which will allow them to give us their feedback on where bus stops should be.”

Weiss said the new platform takes all of their engagement platforms and puts them in one place.

Riders can sign up for the engagement platform here.
