TSN Anchor to host PG Cougars Alumni Charity Golf Tournament

The 9th annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament will have some added star power to it.

TSN anchor Lindsay Hamilton will be hosting the event from the PG Golf and Curling Club on July 8th and 9th.

“We are thrilled for the full return of the Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament with a few added surprises this year, including welcoming Lindsay, who will be hosting both the Friday night Player Auction and Saturday evening Event Auction,” said Aimee Cassie, CEO for Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

Hamilton joined TSN in 2016 and is an anchor for SportsCentre and Weekday Morning Loop.

The Mississauga, Ontario product has also hosted TSN’s Master’s coverage and regional NHL broadcasts.

Fundraising proceeds for this year’s tournament will focus on Cardiac Care.

To date, over $650,000 has been raised for healthcare in Northern B.C. since the beginning of the tournament.
