Two men who took the Prince George RCMP on a bit of a wild ride Wednesday morning in the Hart have been charged.
According to the provincial court registry, Mark Stephan Barg has been slapped with one count each of assault with a weapon, possessing stolen property over $5,000, and fleeing police.
In addition, Kirk Arthur Clark was charged with possessing stolen property over $5,000 and fleeing police.
Two police cruisers were rammed by the suspects, a pair of spike belts were deployed and a service pistol was fired by an officer.
Barg and Clark were taken into custody when the stolen pickup truck they were in was found along 5th Avenue and Burden Street.
Both men are known to police and will be back in court on May 19th in PG.
