Monster trucks, motocross, and ATV races coming to PG

Monster Truck Spectacular is coming to Prince George at the CN Centre on Saturday (May 21st).

Chris Arel is a former Canadian champion, and said it’s been a while since they’ve been in PG.

“It’s actually been 10 years since we’ve been in Prince George. The Monster Truck Spectacular Tour stops every year in about 20 cities in Canada. The last time we were in Prince George was in 2012.”

He added that we can expect to see five monster trucks, freestyle motocross, as well as some ATV races.

“It’s the first time actually we’re going to do ATV races in Prince George, we have a special team that’s come in from Red Deer, Alberta for that.”

“These [monster trucks] are like 12 feet high, and 12 feet wide, about 1000 horsepower,” added Arel.

He noted that there’s a pit party that happens an hour before each show as well, where people can meet the drivers and get pictures taken with the trucks.

There are two shows happening on Saturday, and tickets can be found on the Tickets North website.
