Community groups in Prince George like the Prince George Community Foundation, Rotary Club, and Colliers Project Leaders are hoping to develop a mega park in PG.

Money has been raised for the project, and presentations were given to City Council on the topic, but now the City is looking for your two cents.

A survey is available on the City’s website that runs until June 8th at 4:30 PM.

The organizations proposing this project would be in charge of the cost for the design, as well as the purchase of play structures, and are asking the City to partner with them.

The City said that it assumes that they’d need to provide the land, as well as services like water, sewer, power, and amenities.

No exact location has been picked yet, but the City said a suitable location would be at the corner of Ospika Boulevard and 22nd Avenue.
