GoByBike Week begins in PG today

BC Transit and The City of Prince George are encouraging people to travel by bicycle during GoByBike week.

Free bus rides are available for cyclist between today (Monday) and June 5th.

Participants just need to use the bike rack on the bus, or show their helmet to ride free.

BC Transit said bike racks on smaller buses can’t be used after dark due to it obstructing the headlights.

People can also enter to win prizes each time they ride, and can register at GoByBikeBC.ca.

A number of local businesses will also be holding celebration stations throughout the week:

  • Monday, May 30 – 7:00 am to 9:00 am: free breakfast at the Canada Games Plaza.
