The best-of-7 Western Conference Final is tied 3-3 with the 7th and deciding game to be played Tuesday night at 7:00 in Kamloops.

The Thunderbirds are 4-0 when facing elimination in this year’s playoffs.

The winner will play the Edmonton Oil Kings in the league’s championship series beginning Friday night in Edmonton.

The New York Rangers visit the Carolina Hurricanes tonight (Monday 5:00 PT) in the 7th and deciding game of the second-round series.

The Rangers won Game 6 on Saturday 5-2.

The Hurricanes are 7-0 at home and 0-6 on the road in the playoffs.

The winner will play the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Final beginning on Wednesday.

The Western Conference Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche will begin Tuesday night (5:00 PT) in Denver.

The Celtics won the Eastern Conference Final 4-3.

Boston advances to the NBA Finals for the first time in 12 years.

The Celtics will play the Golden State Warriors starting on Thursday in San Francisco.

Toronto Blue Jays  11  LA Angels  10

The (27-20) Blue Jays swept the 4-game series to extend their winning streak to five games.

Toronto will entertain the Chicago White Sox Tuesday night (4:07 PT) to begin a 6-game homestand.

Tennis:

Canadian Leylah Fernandez is off to the quarterfinals of the French Open. Fernandez defeated American Amanda Anisimova to advance. Fernandez is seeded 17th and will play Martina Trevisan of Italy on Tuesday (about 3 a.m. PT).

A featured men’s quarterfinal match will have #1 Novak Djokovic against #5 Rafael Nadal.
