NHL: 

New York Rangers  6  Tampa Bay Lightning  2

The Rangers lead the Eastern Conference Final 1-0 with Game 2 Friday night in New York.

The NHL Western Conference Final continues tonight (5:00 PT) in Denver with the Colorado Avalanche up 1-0 over the Edmonton Oilers.

WHL:

The WHL Championship series opens Friday night in Edmonton with the Oil Kings hosting the Seattle Thunderbirds.

The Oil Kings are 12-1, including 7-0 at home in the playoffs.

The Thunderbirds are 12-7, which includes a 6-4 record on the road.

Forward Nico Myatovic of Prince George plays for Seattle.

MLB:

Toronto Blue Jays  7  Chicago White Sox  3

It was the 7th straight victory for the (29-20) Blue Jays who host the White Sox again this afternoon (12:07 PT) as Toronto goes for a 3-game sweep.

NBA:

The NBA Finals begin tonight just after 6:00 (PT) with the Boston Celtics at the Golden State Warriors.
