WHL:

Edmonton Oil Kings  3  Seattle Thunderbirds  2

Edmonton got the winning goal (from Logan Dowhaniuk) with just four seconds left in the third period.

The Oil Kings lead the best-of-7 WHL Final 3-1 with the remainder of the series to be played in Edmonton starting with Game 5 Saturday night at 6:00 (PT).

With one more victory, the Oil Kings will advance to the Memorial Cup in Saint John, N.B., June 20-29.

NHL: 

The New York Rangers put an 8-game home winning streak on the line when they entertain the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight (5:00 PT).

The Rangers and Lightning are tied 2-2 in the best-of-7 NHL Eastern Conference Final.

Game 6 will be back in Tampa Saturday night.

The series winner will face the Colorado Avalanche for the Stanley Cup starting next week.

Boston improved to 7-0 following a loss in the playoffs.
