PG RCMP investigating stabbing that has left one man dead

Just after 5:00 this morning (Saturday), police received a call for service at a commercial dwelling unit on Queensway, and information that a man had been stabbed.

When police and ambulance arrived at the scene, a man in his thirties was found suffering from life threatening injuries.

He was transported to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police remained on scene as the Serious Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services conducted an investigation.

RCMP believe this is a targeted event and there is no increased risk to the public.

Investigators are not releasing the name of the victim, and the investigation is ongoing.
