Goaltender Tyler Brennan (03) and defenceman Ethan Samson (03) were both invited to the National Junior Team summer camp, and forward Riley Heidt (05) was invited to the National Men’s Summer U-18 selection camp.

Brennan is one of four netminders invited to the National Junior Team camp, which will take place in Calgary from July 23rd to 27th. He is also the number one-ranked North American goaltender in the NHL Central Scouting rankings.

Samson, a sixth round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2021, was one of 14 defenders invited to the camp.

Brennan and Samson will be competing for an opportunity to represent Canada at the World Juniors in Halifax and Moncton.

Heidt will be competing for a spot on the team Canada will be sending to the 2022 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Red Deer, AB.

The U-18 selection camp will take place from July 20th to 23rd in Calgary as well.

“All three of these players are very deserving of this,” says GM & Head Coach Mark Lamb. “It’s another positive part of our organization moving forward, with getting exposure like this for our players.”
