Blue Jays Pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu has undergone Tommy John surgery. The standard recovery time for this type of surgery is anywhere between 12 and 18 months.

Over six starts this season, the southpaw was 2-0 with a 5.67 ERA.

CFL:

Calgary Stampeders  33  Hamilton Tiger-Cats  30 (OT)

The Stampeders overcame a 24-3 deficit at the half to win in overtime.

Saskatchewan Roughriders  26  Edmonton Elks  16

The Riders overcame the Elks in a battle of kickers as a total of seven field goals were made in the  game.

US Open:

Matthew Fitzpatrick and Will Zalatoris are tied for the lead at -4 heading into the final day of the tournament.

Canadian Adam Hadwin is in the hunt at -2.

Heading into Sunday, just seven players are under par for the tournament.

Prince George City Council took action to address a nuisance property at tonight's (Monday) meeting. According to a staff report to Council, the property, located at 4235 Quentin Avenue, has been the subject of 25 calls for service from Bylaw Services, as well as 19 visits from the RCMP since July 2024.
