The sixth most affordable place to live in BC is right here in Prince George.
That’s according to the website Moving Waldo.
The northern capital was praised as an outdoor lovers’ paradise due to its abundance of skiing, golfing, and trails for hiking and mountain biking.
In addition, housing is considered affordable. According to the BC Northern Real Estate Board, the average price for a single-family home is just over $533,000.
Moving Waldo also stated rent was relatively cheap with the average two-bedroom apartment going for $1295.
Smithers was ranked the most affordable city to live in BC, with Castlegar 2nd, Cranbrook 3rd, Prince Rupert 4th, Vernon 5th, and Valemount 7th.
