Tampa Bay Lightning vs Colorado Avalanche

MLB:

Toronto Blue Jays at Milwaukee Brewers

The (39-30) Blue Jays are second in the American League East while Milwaukee (40-32) is tied for the NL Central division lead with the St. Louis Cardinals.

NBA Draft:

The Orlando Magic selected Paolo Banchero with the 1st overall pick at the NBA Draft.

Canadians Benedict Mathurin and Shaedon Sharpe were drafted 6th and 7th overall respectively by the Indiana Pacers and Portland Trail Blazers.

PG Cougars:

The Prince George Cougars now know their schedule for the 2022-23 season.

The Cougars will host their home opener on Friday, September 23rd against the Tri-City Americans.

The Kamloops Blazers will be in town for a pair of theme nights at the CN Centre.

The Cougars’ Highway 97 rivals will be in town on December 17th for the Annual Teddy Bear Toss, and on March 25th for Fan Appreciation Night.

The Cougars, along with the rest of the BC Division, will also be visiting the WHL’s Central Division this year.

Memorial Cup:

Shawinigan Cataractes 3 Hamilton Bulldogs 2

The winless Bulldogs take on the Edmonton Oil Kings today at 3pm from Saint John.

CFL:

Montreal Alouettes 37 Saskatchewan Roughriders 13

Als quarterback Trevor Harris passed for 262 yards and one touchdown pass.

Tonight (Friday), the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2-0) host the winless Hamilton Tiger-Cats (0-2).

A Saturday doubleheader sees the Calgary Stampeders (1-0) at home against the Edmonton Elks (0-2) while the BC Lions (1-0) welcome the Toronto Argonauts (1-0).

Vista Radio reporter Darin Bain notched two goals and two assists leading the winless Crossfire in points.
