Trailing 1-0, Colorado scored a pair of goals in the 2nd period.
Nathan MacKinnon tied the game and then 10 1/2 minutes later set up the game-winner by Artturi Lehkonen.
Norris Trophy-winning defenseman Cale Makar, who had 29 points in 20 postseason games for the Avalanche, was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the playoffs.

Each team won a game in regulation by a goal, each team won a blowout game and the difference was that Colorado won a pair of games in overtime.

Memorial Cup Junior Hockey:
The Memorial Cup semifinal today (Monday at 3 p.m. PT) has the Hamilton Bulldogs against the Shawinigan Cataractes.
The winner will play the host Saint John Sea Dogs in Wednesday’s final.
The Edmonton Oil Kings did not make the 3-team playoff after posting an overtime win and two losses during the round-robin.

MLB:
Milwaukee Brewers 10 Toronto Blue Jays 3
The (40-32) Blue Jays finished 2-4 on a 6-game road trip.
Toronto will start an 8-game homestand tonight (Monday 4:07 p.m. PT) against the (42-31) Boston Red Sox.
The Jays are tied with Tampa Bay for 3rd in the A.L. East, a game-and-a-half behind Boston.

CFL:
The BC Lions are off to an impressive 2-0 start after crushing the Toronto Argonauts 44-3 on Saturday.
The Lions have outscored their opponents 103-18 in winning their first two home games.
Lions QB Nathan Rourke, who was born in Victoria, has completed 65 of 74 passes after a couple of games for 718 yards with seven touchdown passes and no interceptions.
Both Calgary and Winnipeg top the West at 3-0.
Week 4 of the CFL season starts Thursday (4:30 PT) with B.C. visiting the (0-2) Ottawa Redblacks.

PG Senior Lacrosse:
The best-of-3 semifinals start this week in Prince George Senior Lacrosse.
The BHL Bandits play the Mackenzie Lumberjacks Tuesday night at 8:00 at Kin 1.
The other series will open Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Kin 1 featuring the regular-season champion Canadian Brewhouse Devils against Northland Nissan Assault.
