A weekend fire training session is on tap at the Prince George Airport.
It will take place on Saturday (July 9th) from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Locals are reminded these fires pose no threat to the public or surrounding areas.
These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification.
As a result, dark smoke may be seen in the vicinity.
