Tonight (Monday) Environment Canada ended the thunderstorm warning for PG

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Prince George.

Environment Canada is warning Prince George residents of the potential for intense lightning today, in the midst of the heat wave.

The average daily high in town was a little above the 30 degree mark this week, also concerning, the forecast is only calling for a 15% chance of rain today, on the high end.

Environment Canada is reminding everyone, “when thunder roars, go indoors.”
