BC Transit bringing back school transit service in Prince George

Some seasonal adjustments will be made to BC Transit’s bus service in Prince George next month.

This is due to students going back to school in both K-12 and post-secondary.

Post-secondary trips on the 15 UNBC/Downtown route and the 55 Victoria route will return.

These trips will be denoted by the “U” and “F” trip notes in the riders guide.

Service will also resume on the 12 Parkridge, 96 Shas Ti Kelly Road, and 97 Shas Ti Kelly Road routes to cater to K-12 students.

Route 105 Pine Centre/Downtown Express will also offer an alternative to College of New Caledonia students.

According to BC Transit, the first two weeks of school are the busiest for their routes, as students return to class and are figuring out their new schedules.
