Missing canoeists recovered from Fraser Lake

The Fraser Lake RCMP have confirmed the bodies of two missing canoeists have been found.

According to police, the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team located and recovered the bodies of both missing men at Fraser Lake at a round noon on Saturday.

Alberto Calago and Gibrone Cano were last seen on September 5th paddling towards a small island on Fraser Lake, and were not wearing life jackets.

The families have asked for privacy.
