RCMP seek suspicious adult male, after incident with young student

Prince George RCMP are searching for answers after a suspicious incident near College Heights Elementary earlier this week.

On Wednesday police received a call about a 12 year old girl who had been gestured over by an unknown adult male from a truck.

The young student was apparently walking up the hill at around 2:30 in the afternoon when the man approached, before she ran to the school to tell administration and believed she had been followed.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between 50 and 60 years of age, with a dark beard and mustache, glasses, and a dark green t-shirt. His vehicle was also described as dark green with a rack on the back end.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the PG RCMP detachment.
