Emergency response training to take place tomorrow at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park

If you see some commotion along the Fraser River shoreline tomorrow, it will be emergency training, not an actual emergency.

Pembina will be running a simulated pipeline release, the training will be taking place between the north end of Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park and Shelley.

There will be machinery and emergency equipment at the training session, and local emergency services may also be present.

Access to the park will not be impacted, and proper signage will alert the public of what is going on.
