Series of debates, forums, and other events scheduled for municipal elections candidates

With the campaigning period underway for the upcoming municipal election, community organizations are getting ready to host candidate forums and debates.

Here is a list of events, debates, and forums taking place to help you get to know the candidates running in the elections:

  • Sustainability Debate, Sept. 27th 5:30 p.m., Canfor Theatre at UNBC, and Online
  • Mayoral Forum, Sept. 28th 6:30 p.m., PG Public Library and Online
  • Trustee Candidate Forum, Sept. 28th, 6:30 p.m., Vanier Hall, at Prince George Secondary School
  • Political Breakfast, Sept. 29th 8:00 a.m., PG Chamber of Commerce
  • All Candidates Forum, Oct. 1st, 1:00 p.m., Canfor Theatre at UNBC, and Online
  • Candi-dating, Oct. 5th, 6:30 p.m., PG Public Library
  • All Candidates Forum on Poverty, Homelessness, and the Drug Poisoning Crisis, Oct 11th, 6:00 p.m., Omenica Arts Centre

Advance polling dates in Prince George are October 5th, 6th, 11th and 12th.

The General Election is scheduled for October 15th.
