News BC CONSERVATIVES PASS NEW CONSTITUTION SHARE ON: Brendan Pawliw, staff Tuesday, Jun. 9th, 2015 A new constitution has been passed by the Conservative Party of BC. Leader, Dan Brooks says there’s still more work to be done. “now our challenge of course is to build upon this foundation, get the policies in place that are going to resonate with British Columbian’s and make it the best place on earth we know it is, also start recruiting candidates so that we are prepared in that next election in 2017” Brooks adds the new constitution will help re-build the party which was plagued by public infighting in the last provincial election. “we’re learning for our mistakes, one of the things that really hurt our brand was the public infighting and so we looked at that and got to have some solutions, so our new constitution integrates new solutions to those issues. The constitution features an impartial dispute and a code of conduct.
