PIPING FOUNDATION PROGRAM COMING TO NEW CALEDONIA’S PG CAMPUS

A Piping Foundation program will now be offered at the College of New Caledonia campus in Prince George next year.

Instructor Dave Sewell says the foundation level program will prepare students for employment in the four piping trades.

“Pipe-fitting, Steam fitting, is usually involved with bigger industries with pulp mills and that kind of thing and then there is gas-fitting for those who want to strictly work with that part of the industry”

Upon completion of the program students will receive credit for the Industry Training Authority for Level 1 of all four trades.

The 25-week program gets going on February 9th 2016.
