The Prince George fire department was called to a multi-unit residential building on Irwin Street early this morning.
Firefighters were at the building for several hours, and did not allow the fire to spread to neighboring buildings.
They say there were no injuries, but have assessed the damage at $600,000.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
