RCMP issue Amber Alert

Alberta RCMP have now issued an Amber Alert for two girls allegedly taken by their mother earlier this week.

Talisha and Taya Meisel are possibly travelling with their mother, Trina Meisel in a 2007 black Honda CRV with Alberta plate number ORN RSE.

They disappeared from their school in Vulcan, Alberta on Monday.

Trina is described as blonde, 173 cm tall and weighs eighty six kilograms with a heavy build.

Twelve year old Talisha is 152 cm tall with a slim build, long blonde wavy hair and was last seen wearing a turquoise green sweater and blue jeans.

And 6-year-old Taya is 107 cm tall, with a medium build, long blond wavy hair most often worn in a pony tail and wears prescription glasses.

RCMP believe they children may have been taken to Vancouver Island.
