SPECIAL OLYMPIC GOLF CLASSIC CELEBRATES 22 YEARS

The 22nd annual Special Olympics Charity Golf Classic is fast approaching.

Organizer Jos Van Hauge says it has been a huge success.

“so far we have raised over 800-thousand dollars, this is a major fundraiser, the money is used for travelling.

Van Hauge adds there is still time to sign up.

“there’s still spots for six teams, we take 20 teams every year is pretty much sold out, it’s a lot of fun, everyone gets a prize, bring your group have some and there is dinner after that”.

It takes place June 19th at the Prince George Golf and Country Club.
