Date set for David Eby to be sworn in as premier

David Eby will be sworn in as BC’s 37th premier by Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin on Friday, November 18th.
The ceremony will take place at the Government House.
This week, Eby announced a 100-day action plan that focuses on solving issues facing health care, housing, community safety, and climate change.
The former attorney general and housing minister will take over from John  Horgan, who is stepping down following his battle with and recovery from cancer.

Single Rollover in Quesnel Claims Life of One Man

RCMP found a 61-year-old man unconscious in the driver’s seat of the SUV. Police and paramedics on the scene attempted life-saving measures, but the man tragically succumbed to his injuries, and police were unable to resuscitate him.
