Spruce Kings add Brad Tesink to coaching staff

Brad Tesink will be joining the Prince George Spruce Kings as the team’s new Associate Coach.

Tesink was previously a Head Coach in the Maritime Junior Hockey League with the South Shore Lumberjacks.

The product of Saint John, New Brunswick started his coaching career in 2016 as the assistant coach of the Saint John Sea Dogs U15 AAA team, and became the Head Coach the following season.

As a player, Tesink played four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League as a member of the Gatineau Olympiques, Acadie-Bathurst Titan, and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.

“I want to thank Mike Hawes and Alex Evin for the exciting opportunity to join the Spruce Kings,” Tesink said.

“The chance to join such an established community-based program was an easy decision.”

The Spruce Kings will be on the road this weekend, starting with a Friday night matchup against the league-best Penticton Vees.
