The Prince George Cougars called their timeout just 71 seconds into the game.
By that time, the Seattle Thunderbirds already built up a 2-0 lead.
The (10-1) Thunderbirds went on to enjoy period leads of 3-1 and 4-1 and ended up doubling the Cougars 6-3 Tuesday night in Kent, Washington.
Seattle outshot P.G. 35-31, including 16-10 in the first period.
Tyler Brennan took the loss in the net with 29 saves.
Reid Schaefer led the Thunderbirds with three goals, including one into an empty net, to give him 13 on the season.

He is tied for the WHL lead in goals alongside Connor Bedard of the Regina Pats.
The Cougars got goals from Koehn Ziemmer, with his 11th of the season, Ethan Samson, on the power-play, and Caden Brown.

This was the third meeting in five nights between the two teams as they met twice on the weekend in Prince George.
The Thunderbirds won 5-4 Friday and the Cougars took Saturday’s game 4-1 in Prince George.
The (6-7) Cougars continue a 5-game road trip tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 when they play the (8-1-1) Winterhawks in Portland.
