Thousands flood CN Centre for Studio Fair

Earlier this week, Eli Klasner, the Executive Director of the Community Arts Council, claimed this would be the “biggest and best Studio Fair ever.”

His words are holding up so far, as thousands of people have flocked to the CN Centre in the first half of Studio Fair.

The majority of the 300 artisans set up in the building had flocks of people shopping for holiday goodies.

“It has been great. We had a flash mob of dancers come through… thousands of people have been through,” said Christina Watts, the Studio 2880 Gift Shop / Gallery Coordinator.

“We have some amazing vendors all over the place, and it is nice that the community is coming out and supporting what they have made and brought us. It is a wonderful atmosphere” she said.

The building couldn’t hold another vendor if they wanted to, booths are set up in the concourse, atrium, under the arena, and inside the glass.

The selection is wide, food, drink, clothing, toys, books, play tickets and more can all be found.

Studio Fair will be running through the rest of the weekend:

  • Saturday – 10:00 – 6:00 pm
  • Sunday – 10:00 – 4:00 pm
