Operation Red Nose campaign two weeks away

Prince George will once again be one of 75 Canadian cities to have Operation Red Nose running this holiday season.

The service shuttles you, and your vehicle home after a night out while raising money for local youth and amateur sports.

“For more than 25 years, we’ve been a proud partner of Operation Red Nose. We’re excited to welcome back the program in many B.C. communities this year, with thanks to the dedicated volunteers across the province”, said Robin Bell, ICBC Road Safety Program Manager.

“These types of community programs help make our roads safer for everyone by offering drivers and passengers another way to get home safely. We want everyone to enjoy the holiday season responsibly. If your celebrations involve alcohol, please make sure to plan ahead for a safe ride home.”

Rides through Operation Red Nose are entirely by donation – they say the average donation is $25.
