One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries after his vehicle collided with a signpost.
Just after 1:00 am on Wednesday (November 16th), the Prince George RCMP witnessed a vehicle run a red light at the intersection of 17 Avenue and Victoria Street.
The vehicle collided with a signpost before ending up stopped off the roadway.
Police officers approached the vehicle and found the driver unresponsive.
Police administered necessary medical aid until B.C. Emergency Health Services arrived to transport the driver to hospital.
“Investigators determined the man was showing signs of drug impairment and he was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He was subsequently released, pending the full results of the investigation, and the vehicle was impounded for 24 hours,” stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
