CNC Alumnus gives back in a booky way

A CNC Alumnus is hoping to help out the next generation of artists with a recent donation.

Maureen Faulkner has donated five, 80 pound boxes of art history books for the College of New Caledonia’s Library.

She says this comes after a few months of digging through her collection.

“And weeded out all my art history books, all the ones that I had purchased when I was 18 years old,” says Faulkner, “all the way through a whole lifetime of art collection.”

Faulkner began her post-secondary career at CNC back in 1969.

She also worked with the college to create its first Coat of Arms.
