Snowfall warning in place for Highway 97, Pine Pass

A blast of winter is coming to Highway 97 and the Pine Pass.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the area where 15 to 20 centimetres could fall tomorrow (Saturday).

A low-pressure system crossing northern B.C. will bring heavy snowfall and strong winds.

Drivers should prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions and pack an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit, and a flashlight.
