The Prince George Spruce Kings have added to their forward core.
The Spruce Kings acquired import forward Jack Kurrle from the Trail Smoke Eaters in exchange for future considerations.
In 20 games with Trail this season, the Middlesex, Vermont product, has notched (3G, 1A).
“We’re excited to add Jack to our program,” said Spruce Kings General Manager, Mike Hawes.
“He’s a hard-working player that plays a solid 200-foot game and will contribute in both ends of the ice for us. I liked what I saw in his game when we recently played Trail and look forward to seeing what he will add to our forward group.”
He spent last year in the North American Hockey League, tallying 14 points (4G, 10A) in 48 games as a member of the Maine, Nordiques.
Additionally, the Spruce Kings have traded defenceman Aleksy Bandu to the Hawkesbury Hawks of the Central Canada Hockey League for future considerations.
The Montreal product suited up for 11 games for Prince George this season.
