Tickets for the Hospice Dream Home Lottery have sold out once again.

Selling tickets since mid-July, the appreciative Hospice team is now breathing a sigh of relief.
“It is always a worry,” said Donna Flood, the Executive Director of the PG Hospice Palliative Care Society.
“People may not realize that we actually have to buy a house and have it built. This year throughout COVID, it has been a huge expense for us.”
Flood said the profit from the fundraiser always comes in the last tickets sold.

“The revenue we collect from the Dream Home Lottery goes directly to support our Hospice House, so it really goes a long way in caring for our community,” she said.
The lottery draw will be on December 16th.
If you missed out on the house, there are still 50/50 tickets available that will support the new Home Hospice program, which offers people the same end of life care that they get in the Hospice House but from the comfort and familiarity of home.
“We are looking for the biggest take home pot ever,” Flood said, hoping that it hits $250,000.
