Prince George Fire Rescue extinguished a kitchen fire in the 8000 block of Haldi Road last night. (Saturday)
Crews from three halls responded at around 7:11 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found smoke billowing from windows on the main floor.
The fire was contained to the room, and the damage is estimated at $20,000.
No injuries were reported to the occupants of the home or fire personnel.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
