GoFundMe set up for pregnant woman hospitalized in hit and run

Friends of Brenda Palmieri, the pregnant woman who lost her child and was hospitalized in a hit and run on December 16th, have set up a fundraiser to help get her through her stay in the Vancouver hospital.

Palmieri is waiting multiple surgeries in Vancouver right now, a person close to her told My PG Now that she has “only been awake a few moments” since the crash.

Her baby boy’s due date was just after Christmas.

“They expect a recovery, it will just take time,” Palmieri’s friend said.

Collectoverse Toys in Prince George is also taking donations alongside the GoFundMe.

So far, over $4,000 dollars have been raised on the page.

You can find the GoFundMe page here.

Prince George RCMP have confirmed they have found the vehicle and driver involved in the hit and run, no names have been released and they say there will be no further updates.
