Chelsea and Dave, from Prince George, have welcomed the city’s first new citizen of the year.
Baby Paxton was born at UHNBC at 12:45am, weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces.
Abbotsford had the province’s first New Year baby, a girl born at 12:02am.
